Around the middle of the 9th century AD, a group of Vikings lived in southern Norway. There were several tribes there. The people there were strong, tall and sturdy, good at fighting and hunting, and lived on some plains in the southern forest. The tribe was good at raising large forest wolves to assist in hunting. There was abundant food in the jungle, and wild beasts appeared frequently, often disrupting people's actions. The Vikings often encountered huge wild beasts when hunting, and they often fought with wild beasts, so they were very brave.
